Actor-director Satish Kaushik was cremated in Oshiwara, Mumbai on Thursday evening, news agency ANI reported. The 66-year-old filmmaker died in New Delhi, allegedly of a heart attack. Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ishaan Khatter, Pankaj Tripathi, Shehnaaz Gill and others arrived at Satish Kaushik’s residence in Mumbai to pay their last respects to the actor -filmmaker who died in New Delhi, allegedly of a heart attack. Salman Khan, who arrived late in the evening, was seen making his way through the crowds to the late actor’s residence. Shilpa Shetty arrived early and was spotted outside the house. Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar accompanied by his wife Shibani Dandekar and Abhishek Bachchan also visited the house of the late actor. Here’s a preview of some of the images:

Satish Kaushik arrived in Delhi on Wednesday to attend a close friend’s Holi party. However, later at around 1 a.m. he reportedly suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital. Anupam Kher told PTI, “He felt uncomfortable and he told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he had a heart attack around 1am.”
A day before his death, Satish Kaushik celebrated Holi with his industry friends at Javed Akhtar’s residence in Mumbai.
Satish Kaushik was an actor, director, producer, comedian and screenwriter. He is known for his roles as Calendar in Mr IndiaPappu Pager in Deewana Mastanaand Chanu Ahmed in the British film by Sarah Gavron brick path. In addition, he won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice – in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale.
