Madonna tried to keep a low profile as she walked through New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday.

The Grammy winner, 64, who was preparing for her celebration tour, marking the 40th anniversary of her career, was spotted wearing a full-length black puffy coat with a hood as she walked through the airport very frequented.

The Material Girl singer wore dark sunglasses and black pants, a long black and white scarf, a floral sweater and black Moon Boots.

Artist Ray of Light was carrying a large black travel bag.

It was the first time the pop superstar had been seen in public since news broke that she was dating boxer Joshua Popper, 29. The pair reportedly started seeing each other after Madonna split from her former boyfriend Andrew Darnell.

Page Six reported that sources claimed Madonna made a low-key appearance wearing a dressy ensemble and peaked cap to watch her new boyfriend in a fight the night at the Classic Car Club at Pier 76.

It seems the pair met after one of his kids started training with Josh at Bredwinners Gym.

The singer was seen cuddling with her workout partner in a series of since-deleted snaps shared on Instagram earlier this month.

Wearing dark shades and the same black silk coat she wore to the Grammys after-party in early February, Madonna can be seen pressing her lips to Popper’s shoulder and clutching his bulging tattooed right arm as he clenched his fist in the gym.

Neither Madonna nor Josh have spoken publicly about their romance, only sharing photos on social media at the gym together.

When approached by DailyMail.com, the boxer refused to confirm or deny that he was dating the 36-year-old pop icon.

It looks like Madonna wants to keep her personal life to herself, curating her Instagram account to reflect the upcoming tour and nothing more.

She shared videos and photos of her four youngest children – twins Estere and Stella, 10, Mercy James, 17 and David Banda, 17 – backstage at rehearsals on social media.

The Evita star is also mum to adult children Lourdes Leon, 26, from her relationship with former personal trainer Carlos Leon, and Rocco Ritchie, 22, whom she shared with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

Speaking to Vanity Fair for her icon act in Italy, France and Spain, she spoke about the challenges of motherhood.

“Today I still struggle to figure out how to be a mother and do my job,” she admitted.
