Aaron Carter’s mother has released footage of the horrifying scene where her son died, as she believes he was the victim of a crime and did not die of an overdose.
Jane Carter posted several photos of the tragic bathroom scene on her social media in a bid to bring the case to the attention of authorities.
The footage was taken at Mr Carter’s home in Lancaster, California, the day the troubled singer died on November 5 last year.
One of the images showed the tub where the I Want Candy singer died filled with discolored water, likely from the natural bodily aftereffects of death.

Ms Cater said she had the full support of her son’s friends and family to release the footage to bring attention to the case.
She said she was not taken seriously by police and hoped the message detailing the gruesome scene of her death would lead law enforcement to re-examine Mr Carter’s death.
She also said it was wrong that police could ‘drive through’ the house when the body was discovered by the housekeeper last year, and said there ‘should have been at least an investigation’.
“Due to my son’s mental illness and prescription drug issues, they (the police) just wanted it to be something easy that they didn’t have the time or inclination to sort out.”
The devastated mother added: ‘We want justice. We want answers.
“There are people who need to be held accountable.”
An autopsy conducted by the LA County Coroner’s Office has already confirmed to Mr Carter’s family that he did not drown.
Authorities found he had no water in his lungs, so they believe he died in the bathtub from an overdose.
But Ms Carter and her son’s fiancee, Melanie Martin, 30, have previously alleged that a drug deal he entered into on the night of his death could have led to an overdose.
In an interview with TMZ in January, Martin said she found text messages on Mr. Carter’s phone from a man demanding $800 for an unknown substance.
Mr Carter, who spent time in rehab between 2011 and 2017, reportedly responded to the man by saying he no longer needed the substance, to which the man replied that it didn’t. didn’t matter because he still owed the money.
He then asked if he was threatened, which is where the messages end.

Ms Martin submitted the text exchange to the Los Angeles Police Department as evidence after the tragic death.
Former child star Carter spent his life marred by drug addiction. It has previously been reported that law enforcement found prescription pills and cans of compressed air in the bathroom where he died.
The star’s manager, Taylor Helgeson, said they discussed his participation in an inpatient rehabilitation program, which was met with resistance from Carter.
He said they plan to spend three months in Utah to ‘detox and get into new physical habits’ – Carter saying he wants to focus on recovering custody of his one-year-old son Prince year, before entering rehab.
A neutral third party will now handle the administration of Mr Carter’s estate after his twin sister Angel dropped her takeover bid.
She is said to have struck a deal with Aaron’s fiancée Ms Martin – mother of his 14-month-old son Prince – to hire a neutral third party to be the administrator of the estate, estimated to be worth around $550,000 in real and personal assets .
In January, in a downtown Los Angeles court, Judge Michael Small granted the twin’s request to withdraw her motion to become a trustee. Financial adviser Aileen Federizo has been named administrator, giving her “full authority” over the estate. The judge has scheduled another hearing for June 25.
